We are thrilled that Dame Fiona Reynolds, our new president, will be speaking before our AGM at 7pm on Monday 27th June at the Maynard in Grindleford. Fiona will talk about her new book "The Fight for Beauty. Our Path to a Better Future", which will be on sale at the special discounted price of £13.


FR_Photo_(David_Levinson-42-2)Dame Fiona Reynolds DBE is Master of Emmanuel College, Cambridge, and a former Director-General of the National Trust. Before her position with the Trust, she was Director of the Women’s Unit in the Cabinet Office and was previously Director of CPRE and Secretary to the Council for National Parks.

Everyone is welcome to attend the AGM, but please note that only members of Friends of the Peak District or CPRE (Peak District and South Yorkshire) will be entitled to vote.
