We have a wide range of admin tasks which we would really like help with. Whether you want to gain some experience for your CV, or to volunteer for a charity which is dear to your heart, we'd like to hear from you. Please click here to read more.
It's a very busy and challenging time for us as we are responding to several Local Plan consultations as well as the many speculative greenfield planning applications that NPPF's land supply policies have encouraged. We're looking for a number of volunteer planners to work with our staff and local groups. The roles would ideally suit planners retiring from local government or private practice who share our concern to promote genuinely sustainable development in the right places, give communities a proper say in the decisions that affect them and prevent unnecessary damage to the landscape.
The work can be tailored to suit your availability and your specialisms, but there is wide range of activities that we need assistance with, including Local Plan consultations, influencing planning applications and helping local communities and activists to work with the planning system to best effect.
