Vacancies

Sorry but we don't have any job vacancies at the moment. However you may be interested in volunteering opportunities with us. For example...

Chair of the Board of Trustees

Our trustees are responsible for the good governance and strategic direction of the charity. This is a voluntary role which is crucial in leading the Board and line managing the paid Director, Andy Tickle. Please click here to find out more.

Administration volunteers

We have a wide range of admin tasks which we would really like help with. Whether you want to gain some experience for your CV, or to volunteer for a charity which is dear to your heart, we'd like to hear from you. Please click here to read more.

Planning volunteers

It's a very busy and challenging time for us as we are responding to several Local Plan consultations as well as the many speculative greenfield planning applications that NPPF's land supply policies have encouraged. We're looking for a number of volunteer planners to work with our staff and local groups.  The roles would ideally suit planners retiring from local government or private practice who share our concern to promote genuinely sustainable development in the right places, give communities a proper say in the decisions that affect them and prevent unnecessary damage to the landscape.

The work can be tailored to suit your availability and your specialisms, but there is wide range of activities that we need assistance with, including Local Plan consultations, influencing planning applications and helping local communities and activists to work with the planning system to best effect.
