Professional landscape photographers, Mike Williams, Karen Frenkel and Jerry Rawson, had the difficult task of judging this year’s contest, which was categorised for the first time to better showcase the Peak District’s special qualities.

Image entitled 'Sunrise on Stanage Edge' - photographed by Graham Dunn (Peak Park Picture Perfect Runner Up 2007)There has been an improving standard year on year and at least 10% of the 2007 entries can be classed as outstanding, commented Jerry.

Thanks to the support of gallery owner Si Homfray, this year’s winners received a unique prize of a summer-long exhibition of their work at the Living Art Gallery, Hathersage which was unveiled at a special reception on May 30th. You can visit the exhibition and also view all the winning entries on our Slideshow.

Our grateful thanks also go to Mike Cummins from Lets Stay Peak District (www.peakdistrict-nationalpark.com) for sponsoring this event.
