In Memoriam

April blossom small - Roger Butterfield

Beautiful forever...

In memoriam donations are a valuable and positive way to celebrate the life of a loved one, while helping Friends of the Peak District to carry out its valuable work of looking after our first National Park and helping to ensure it remains beautiful forever.

By setting up a tribute fund you can create a living memory of a loved long after flowers have faded. Donations given in memory of a loved one, or instead of flowers at a funeral, ensure that Friends of the Peak District can continue to protect and enhance the Peak District.  Your loved one will be a part of this forever in a lasting tribute to his or her life.

We will thank each donor individually and let you know the grand total raised in your loved one's honour and how that money has been spent so you know exactly what your loved one is helping to achieve for Friends of the Peak District.

What makes a fund special?

Setting up a Friends Fund allows you  to choose exactly which area of our work donations will support:

  • A specific campaign
  • Project funding
  • Wherever the need is greatest

Whichever way you choose to contribute, you can be assured that your Friends Fund will help us to keep our countryside a beautiful and tranquil place for everyone to enjoy now and forever.

Who can set up a Friends Fund?

Anyone can set up a fund, although they are usually opened by close family and friends.

How long will my fund stay open for?

Friends Funds are a lasting tribute to a loved one, and so we will never close a fund.
