Become a Friend

You can become a Friend from as little as £12 per year*. We have a number of membership rates to suit everybody. The most important thing is that all our Friends contribute towards helping us to protect our oldest and most popular National Park.

Gift Aid your DonationDo not forget to gift aid your donation if you are a UK taxpayer. Each £1 you donate is worth 25p more so do not forget to complete the Gift Aid Form when you join up as a Friend. If you pay online a Gift Aid Form will be included in your Welcome Pack.   • £12 will pay for the recruitment costs for a volunteer to help with our important climate change work.

  • £24 will pay for our planning officer to attend a planning committee meeting that is deciding on a development we are supporting or objecting to.

  • £36 will pay for one volunteer to visit nine sites proposed for development and report back on each to our planning officer.

Life membership (over 60) - £300
  • £300 will pay for a conservation day repairing damaged fences and walkways, collecting seeds, building disabled access paths or dry stone walling in the Peak District.

  • £530 will pay for one year’s campaigning costs for all our quarrying work in the Peak District.
