Peak District Guardians

For those people who want to help safeguard the Peak District just that little bit more.

Peak District Guardians are people who really care about and love the Peak District countryside and landscape and can support our work in a significant way by giving us a donation of £250 or more per year.

They play a crucial role in supporting our campaigning efforts so that locals and visitors, families and walkers and those who simply enjoy the Peak Districts beauty and tranquility can do so. They also support our work either through a minimum of £250 per annum or £21 per month.

Peak District Guardians receive all the benefits of Friends of the Peak District and CPRE Members plus an invitation to a special Peak District Guardian event, held annually at beautiful Peak District locations. Previous venues have included Chatsworth House, Cressbrook Hall and Renishaw Hall.

For information about the Peak District Guardian event which was held in May 2008 please visit our events page.

Peak District Guardians know that their £250 can:

  • Pay for investigating and making representations on a planning application

  • Pay for volunteer and staff to visit sites of proposed planning developments for a month

  • Pay for a press and media to generate public awareness of a big issue like Stanton Moor.

If you love the Peak District and can help us by supporting us at this level, please join online. Your payment will be processed securely by PayPal (Europe) Ltd or fill in a Donation form here. Alternatively, ring Lucy Stirling on 0114 266 5822 for more information about the Peak District Guardians.
