Marina Lewycka – author of best-selling A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian, and new novel Various Pets Alive and Dead – will be joining us for this brilliant event, and talking about what the Peak District means to her.

Head Chef Rupert Rowley combines classic favourites with modern combinations, using British produce in season including Derbyshire Lamb, Scottish Razor Clams, Cornish Shellfish and Yorkshire forced Rhubarb. Abundant herbs and vegetables during the summer months from Baslow Hall and High Ashes Farm in Barlow are used to create innovative dishes.
